Since February 2011,DANA’s Libyan operations had been on a standstill due to the ongoing conflict.However even during the war the Group has helped innocent Libyans in more than one ways by supporting their families,and also funding education of Libyan’s who were studying abroad during these tough times.

Having worked in Libya during his initial 15 years of career,group MD Dr B.S Dana was quoted saying -”Libya has been a building block for our Group,and we never can leave the country in thick or thin.Even during the conflict we were in touch with our Libyan friends,and extended full support to their families in fulfilling their needs.Now as the conflict has ended,we have restarted full-fledged operations and aim to participate in the Country’s Growth & Development.We have already executed more than USD 5 million foodstuff supply at subsidized prices in November alone.It was a sound decision to keep our libyan facilities intact and maintaining constant relationships with all our stakeholders.We shall definitely get a head start in the new Libyan Era with our strong regional presence and longstanding reputation”.

After resuming trading business,the manufacturing facility will also resume operation within a month’s time.DANA Group shall endeavor to put in substantial investment in growth and development of the Nation.

Post-war Revival of Libyan Business of DANA has been at a very rapid phase.With things returning back to Normal,DANA has been at the forefront to help in reconstruction of war-torn Libya.

Owing to it’s well-established network of patrons,and a solid fail-safe reputation,within one month DANA has had executed major foodstuff and essential commodities supply orders in Libya.Frozen chicken,Canned Skipjack tuna,Frozen vegetables,Biscuits,Rice,Wheat flour and sugar are just some of the agro products which DANA has expertise in.

Dr Ruchi Dana,has enrolled at a special Global Management & Strategy Course at GSB,Stanford University where she shall be gaining various insights on the subject,under the guidance of Ex-US Secretary of State Prof. Condoleezza rice.

Adding another feather to it’s cap,DANA Cable management systems ( cable trays,ladders,trunking & conduits) are now approved vendors Borouge(Abudhabi Polymers Company Limited,A Division of ADNOC Group) .

This is the latest achievement of DANA’s value added steel products.Other Approvals to it’s credit include Qatar Petroleum,PDO(Petroleum Development Oman),Mott Mc Donald,ILF Consulting,Khatib & Alami, just to name a few.

Board Member & Division head Dr Ruchi Dana has enrolled on a fully sponsored seat at World Class MBA program at Graduate School of Business (GSB) ,Stanford University for an MBA in Finance & Operations.

She shall complete her course in Fall 2013,and consequently add her enriched experience & skills to the growth of DANA group. DANA group has pride in investing in the future generations who shall take over the reigns of the group & lead it to success.

With Qatar winning the bid for World Cup 2022 , there has been a spur in construction activity in the State. DANA group has already established it’s presence in Qatar with major agreements signed with various distributors & also establishment of representative office in Qatar.

Our Entire Group participated in the BIG 5 Construction exhibition 2010 b/w 22nd Nov ’10 – 25th Nov ’10 in Dubai with huge success. We showcased our entire range of products (i.e. domestic electric water heaters, stainless steel water coolers,water chillers,cable management systems[viz.offshore/marine cable trays,ladders,trunking,conduits & related accessories],DANA metal profiles[viz. metal studs,tracks,furring channels,angles,tees for usage in dry wall partitioning and ceiling suspension systems])

Also launched in this exhibition was full range of DANA Profiles & Cladding(viz,insulated composite profiled panels, profiled cladding sheets, secondary structural members, Wall Cladding Sheets, Roof Cladding Sheets, Curved Cladding Sheets, Flashing Sheets, Sandwich Panels, Flat Panels and Cold Store Panels and all kind of accessories.) & DANA Scaffolding & Formworks systems.
